Orbital Cultura - Nexi Group Award
The Orbital Cultura – Nexi Group award, realised in collaboration with miart, the International Fair of Modern and Contemporary Art, is dedicated to photography and intended for artists represented by galleries participating in the Established and Portal sections of the fair. The aim of the prize is to provide Italian museums with new, contemporary and high-quality images, supporting a broader dialogue between past and present.
During the first edition, the jury, consisting of architect Michele De Lucchi, photographer and editor Giovanna Silva and curator and photography critic Francesco Zanot, awarded the prize to photographer Francesco Jodice, represented by Umberto di Marino Gallery. Francesco Jodice was honoured on 14 April during miart with an award of €10,000 for commissioning a photographic documentation of the exteriors and common spaces of the Uffizi Galleries (Uffizi, Palazzo Pitti, Boboli Gardens, Vasari Corridor).
The jury of the second edition, formed by Francesco Zanot, curator and photography critic, Silvia Paoli, head of the Civico Archivio Fotografico in Milan and Paola Nicolin, art historian and curator, awarded the prize to Guido Guidi, represented by the VIASATERNA gallery. Guido Guidi was honoured on 11 April during miart with an award of EUR 10,000 for his commission of a photographic documentation of the exteriors and common spaces of Castello Sforzesco. The 2nd edition of the award was realised in collaboration with the City of Milan, on the occasion of Milano Art Week (1-14 April 2024).

Fundraising
Orbital Cultura has made its Fundraising services available to the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino free of charge. An online fundraising platform that puts the institution in direct contact with its benefactors.
Through our platform, the donor, without intermediaries or interests, can support cultural institutions with a simple click. An opportunity to donate and take advantage of the Art Bonus, the tax tool made available by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage.
